The European Union's recent drive towards enhanced packaging recyclability, as per the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (EU) 2025/40, has brought the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) into the spotlight. With a firm mandate that all packaging must be recyclable, the EU is on a mission to reshape the packaging industry and reduce its environmental footprint.
